Making It In Media

Are you passionate about content creation, news, journalism, media, advertising or public relations?

If you're a student in Years 9, 10, 11 or 12, join us for our free Making it in Media workshop!

Ever wondered what it's really like to host a podcast, write newsworthy articles or work in TV? In this exciting full-day workshop, you'll dive deep into the dynamic worlds of design and content creation, news and media, and strategic communication.

This interactive, hands-on experience invites you to collaborate with other students and explore the diverse majors you'll discover at Charles Sturt.

What to expect

  • Step into our brand-new TV studio and creative hub.
  • Get a get a taste of what it’s really like to work in media and have your questions answered.
  • Take part in practical and fun workshop sessions.
  • Hear from our course director, leading academics and alumni.
