Big Deadly Yarn Up

On 19-20 November 2024, we are bringing together two deadly networks, First Nations Student Connect and First Nations Alumni Connect, to yarn about First Nations business.

We are excited to host our second gathering of First Nations current students and graduates to share information, ideas and feedback on First Nations student experience and success at Charles Sturt.

Location and registration

The Big Deadly Yarn Up 2024 will be held on Birpai Country, Port Macquarie. Accommodation and meals during the forum are on us, and we can offer subsidies towards travel.

To top it off, the forum dinner will be combined with our First Nations Success Awards ceremony, an opportunity to celebrate many forms of First Nations success among our students, staff and community.

Benefits of attending include: professional development through networking and contributing to strategy, maintaining a connection with Charles Sturt, and having a say on how you can stay connected and learn about future study options.
