There are many ways to get started at university.
Teresa was the first member of her family to go to uni, and studied a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management.
"My journey to my education and career is not very typical. Even though I didn't have the result to get into university through an ATAR there was this support from Charles Sturt with pathway programs that really allowed Indigenous people to go to university despite a lot of the issues we might face in high school or in life."
