Guaranteed entry explained chevron_right
If you've completed a TAFE/VET diploma or advanced diploma, or Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC), you're eligible for guaranteed entry into most of our undergraduate courses.
Your previous study doesn't need to be related directly to your chosen Charles Sturt degree. You just need to have completed a formally recognised tertiary qualification.
If you've completed a TAFE/VET qualification other than a diploma or advanced diploma, such as a Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC), you could still gain entry to a Charles Sturt course.
Contact us to discuss your study options.
Eligibility of TAFE/VET graduates
As a TAFE/VET graduate, you're eligible for guaranteed entry to most Charles Sturt undergraduate degrees if:
- you're in your final year of diploma or advanced diploma study, or you completed your diploma within the last 10 years
- your diploma was awarded by a recognised Australian TAFE/VET Institution
- you're an Australian domestic student, or an international student who meets our international entry requirements
- you can provide certified copies of original transcripts showing completion of your qualification.
Eligibility of Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) graduates
As a TPC graduate, you're eligible for guaranteed entry to most Charles Sturt University undergraduate degrees if:
- you have a Tertiary Entrance Score (TES) of 157 or above
- you're in the final stages of completing your TPC or you completed your certificate within the last 10 years
- you can provide certified copies of original transcripts showing completion of your qualification.

Courses where guaranteed entry does not apply chevron_right
