Canadian paramedics

You can study online, in your own time, with one of the world’s top online universities. We recognise your experience ‒ there’s no need to travel for face-to-face intensives or to undertake clinical placements.

Complete your master's degree by studying either full-time or part-time. Students will apply to the graduate diploma course then transfer to the Master of Paramedicine when eligible.

Applications for 2025 are open for Canadian paramedics applying for the online course. ACPs and CCPs should apply for the Graduate Diploma of Paramedicine (for Canadian applicants).

Canadian paramedics will be awarded advanced credit for APS505 (Critical Care Skills). CCPs may be eligible for additional credit.

Fees

Canadian students are eligible for a reduced international fee and will pay $2405 AUD per subject. This rate applies to students who are accepted into paramedic courses in 2025.

Charles Sturt University reviews its fees annually.

Commence in March in Session 1 (30) or July in Session 2 (60).

You will need to submit the following with your application:

1. Advanced Care Diploma and transcript sent directly from your educational institute to internationaladmiss@csu.edu.au or uploaded with your application (stamped verified as original copies by a Notary Public)
2. Evidence of a minimum 1-year ACP or CCP experience (record of employment letter from HR department sent directly to internationaladmiss@csu.edu.au)
3. Evidence of name change if your current name is different than your documents (i.e. marriage or divorce certificate)

Be sure to indicate on your application that you are applying for credit.
