What other costs can I expect? chevron_right
Accommodation
If you want to study on campus in Australia, you’ll need to think about costs such as accommodation, travel, meals and other living expenses. Accommodation and meals can all be taken care of through our student packages, designed to meet your lifestyle and budget. And the best part about living on campus? You don’t have to worry about bond, bills or furniture – it’s all included.
Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)
When you go to university you’ll pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) for each subject you study. It doesn't cost much. This fee goes towards providing non-academic support services and facilities to improve the student experience whilst studying. For the calendar year 2023, the SSAF will be $40 per 8-point subject, with a maximum annual fee capped at $320 per student.
Textbooks, uniforms and workplace learning
Depending on your course, you may also need to consider the cost of a few extras, like textbooks, uniforms and attending workplace learning. But none of these things need to cost a fortune. For instance, you may be able to buy your textbooks second-hand – or better still, borrow them from the uni library.
