We have a three-step process for induction.
1. Discover our Checkpoints feature on your student portal. It's a handy list of all the tasks, big and small, that you need to complete to get your studies underway.
2. Once you're on campus, you'll be invited to introductory student events and workshops. Get to know your course, meet other students and settle into uni life! If you're studying online, you'll be invited to online orientation events where you can meet other online students.
3. Looking for more support? We have more than 80 academic and learning skills support pages to help you on your study journey. You can find all of that and more from within your student portal.

You can apply for accommodation via our accommodation portal. We provide guaranteed rooms for almost all first-year students, as long as you apply by the specified date.

We offer support to students from diverse backgrounds, including those who identify as Indigenous, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or with one or more Nations or language group names.
