Welcome to your dedicated program of short, online subjects to prepare for university. Whether you’re just considering uni studies, starting university or continuing in a later year, there’s a Study Link subject to help you.
Short online subjects you can take before or during your degree to brush up on your skills and knowledge. Even if you're not starting a degree, you can take a Study Link subject to up-skill for work or even to help the kids with their homework.
Subjects are generally between 14 and 40 hours long. You work through them online at your own pace, with a course coordinator on hand if you need them. And they're not credit-bearing, so there's no pressure to get it right the first time. They're free for all Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens or holders of a permanent visa – and pretty inexpensive even if you're not.
Everyone, really. They're perfect if you're coming to university for the first time and are feeling a little nervous about how it all works. You've had a break from uni study and want to get back into the swing of things. If you've never studied online before and want to get a handle on it. Or feel you have a 'knowledge gap' – whether how to write essays or the fundamentals of biology.
Everything from academic skills – such as grammar and referencing – through to maths, stats and science. Make your transition to uni seamless.
