Getting a new qualification needn't take over your life. You can complete the course in one year, or take longer if you need. Our Graduate Certificate in Case Management and Coordinated Care is an online course. Studying online gives you the freedom to choose when and where you complete your degree. With the flexibility of our online learning and research tools, you can study your way, in your time.
Our graduate certificate is taught by industry experts and academics, many of whom are pursuing research in health, justice and human services areas, including case management.
This course is industry-aligned and designed, based on best practice to meet the needs of current professionals. As such, it covers a wide range of case management principles, not just one or two. What's more, we can provide tailored education in this field for your staff - giving them all the skills and qualifications they need to excel in the sector now, and into the future.
With the Graduate Certificate in Case Management and Coordinated Care, you'll be perfectly positioned to take on a case management role across public health, human services and non-government organisations. You could work in case management, or any role requiring assessment, referral, monitoring, high-level communication and advocacy skills. From mental health, aged care, disability or child protection, to migrant resettlement or disaster recovery, this qualification will boost your career potential - wherever you want to make a difference.
For each 8-point subject you are enrolled in, you should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, intensive schools, or examinations. If you are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.
You may need to attend an online or on-campus intensive school for certain subjects in this course. These schools usually involve lectures, tutorials and practicals that will give you a deeper understanding of your subject.
As a Charles Sturt University student, throughout your course you have a responsibility to continue to develop skills in English language, literacy and numeracy as appropriate to your discipline. This ongoing development will enable you to effectively participate in your course and graduate prepared to enter the workforce.
