Score $35K and a grad job

    Successful scholarship recipients will receive:

  • up to $22,000 tuition allowance for full-time Commonwealth-supported students
  • up to $10,000 appointment allowance, depending on your appointment location
  • $1,500 textbook and incidentals allowance
  • $4,000 placement allowance
  • supervised practicum placements in schools
  • ongoing professional support to complete psychologist registration requirements, including provision of the supervised internship
  • employment as a school psychologist (provisional) in a NSW public school with a highly competitive starting salary after graduating.

How to apply

  1. Check your eligibility for the NSW Department of Education Psychology Graduate Scholarship Program.
  2. Submit your scholarship application to the NSW Department of Education by 11.59pm on Friday 3 July 2026.
  3. Apply for the Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) through Charles Sturt University. You will be invited to apply in Term 3 of the year prior to the program commencing.

You will only be offered a place in the Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) if you are successful in being offered a scholarship and meet the university’s entry requirements.

Scholarships open on Monday 25 May 2026 and close Friday 3 July 2026 at 11.59pm.
