You might be asking...
How much does university cost? chevron_right
Tuition fees for your first year of full-time study could range between $6500 and $11,000 (based on 2019 undergraduate domestic fees). Remember, you don’t need to pay this upfront.
Scholarships can help you with study costs, accommodation, travel and more. We have more than $3 million in scholarships and grants available.
Here are some other costs to consider.
If you’re moving away from home, you’ll need to think about costs such as accommodation, travel, meals and other living expenses. Accommodation and meals can all be taken care of through our student packages, designed to meet your lifestyle and budget. And the best part about living on campus? You don’t have to worry about bond, bills or furniture – it’s all included.
Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)
When you go to university you’ll pay a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) for each subject you study. SSAF benefits you because it helps with the maintenance and improvement of essential services and amenities. It doesn't cost much. In 2019, the SSAF is $37 per 8-point subject.
Textbooks, uniforms and workplace learning
Depending on your course, you may also need to consider the cost of a few extras, like textbooks, uniforms and attending workplace learning. But none of these things need to cost a fortune. For instance, you may be able to buy your textbooks second-hand – or better still, borrow them from the uni library.
