Professional accreditation
Professional accreditation is an important quality measure of our courses. It means our graduates can work in their chosen profession.
Charles Sturt has accreditation with more than 35 professional bodies such as:
- Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC)
- Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC), and
- NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
These professional bodies review Charles Sturt courses to ensure they meet their standards.

Graduates must complete an agreed program of subjects to meet accreditation requirements.
Sometimes, a professional body may have extra requirements that graduates must complete. This may be a period of professional experience, further education, or workplace training to gain full accreditation. You should check with the relevant professional body for their current requirements.

To work as an occupational therapist, you must register for practice with the OTBA. The course is also approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT). | |
