How to apply for an early offer
Applying to get the advantage at Charles Sturt is a simple three-step process.

Submit the Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program application form via this website. You’ll need to provide short answers to three questions to show us you have the soft skills we are looking for.

If you’re getting an ATAR this year and want to study on campus: Submit your UAC or VTAC application ensuring you select your Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program course as your highest preference.
Everyone else*: Apply direct to Charles Sturt for your early offer program course.
*School leaver wanting to study online, school leaver not getting an ATAR, non-school leaver. Domestic applicants only (international students are not eligible for the Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program.)

Do I need to list my early offer program course on my UAC/VTAC preference list? chevron_right
Yes, definitely! Your Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program course should be your highest preference. If you list a different course above your early offer program course, you might receive an offer for the higher preferenced course and miss out on your early offer with Charles Sturt.

How many courses can I apply for with the early offer program? chevron_right
When you fill out your Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program application, you’ll have the option to apply for up to three courses. If you’re successful, you’ll get an offer in order of your preferences. If you’re not successful, don’t stress. We have plenty of admission pathways that can get you where you want to go – and we’ll help guide you through the process.

Do I still need to meet all course requirements? chevron_right
Yes, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve met all course entry requirements in order to begin studying.

Is there a limit on the number of spots in the early offer program? chevron_right
There isn't a limit overall, but some of our most competitive courses might have limits on the number of conditional offers made via the Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program.

What happens if I don't get an offer? chevron_right
Don’t stress – there’s other ways to get into uni. You’ll still be considered for entry to Charles Sturt University via the normal UAC/VTAC process during other rounds.

Can I defer my early offer? chevron_right
Yes. As long as your course normally allows for deferrals (this is the case for almost all our undergrad courses).

Can international students apply to the early offer program? chevron_right
No, sorry. The Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program is only available to Australian citizens and permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens.
