AHO Tertiary Accommodation Grants Access to affordable accommodation is a significant barrier that impacts on Aboriginal tertiary education rates across New South Wales. The grants will provide eligible Aboriginal students with assistance to source affordable accommodation options. $5000 Applications open
Professional Placement Equity Grant Provides financial assistance for Workplace Learning (professional placement). The grant is approximately $50 to $100 per week of placement. Grants are not intended to provide an alternative to other forms of income and recipients are not to rely on payment occurring prior to attending their placement. up to $50 - $100 per week Applications closed
Three Rivers Department of Rural Health Placement Grant The Three Rivers Department of Rural Health is part of Charles Sturt University and aims to improve the recruitment and retention of nursing, midwifery, allied health, dentistry and oral health professionals across the Albury, Dubbo, Griffith, Orange, Bathurst and Wagga Wagga regions. Three Rivers DRH are funded under the Australian Government's Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) Program. The Placement Grant assists eligible students who are required to travel away from home for clinical placements within our rural footprint. Varies Applications closed
Charles Sturt Accommodation Equity Scholarship The Charles Sturt Accommodation Scholarship is designed to assist commencing and continuing students who are residing in on-campus residences and off-campus accommodation.

Emergency Equity Grant The Charles Sturt University Student Emergency Equity Grant provides assistance to students who are experiencing financial hardship which is impacting their capacity to study. Grants are provided to help with the costs of accommodation, basic living costs, groceries, textbook and course material/equipment and transport costs. PLEASE NOTE: New students must have passed the Census date of their first session of study to be eligible to apply for this Grant. up to $1000 Applications open

Excellence Scholarship Based on a combination of academic merit with an ATAR score of 90 or above (inclusive of any Regional location adjustment) and evidence of leadership and community involvement. $5000 (per annum) Applications open

Charles Sturt Communication Scholarship The Charles Sturt Communication Scholarship is a cash award to assist a Bachelor of Communication student with books, fees, or equipment that they may need during study. We want you to demonstrate your passion and previous experience, to be eligible for this scholarship. $2000 Applications open
First Nations Bachelor of Social Work Scholarship The First Nations Bachelor of Social Work Scholarship assists students with the cost of studying and work place learning. There are two scholarships on offer. up to $10000 Applications open
Transgrid Civil Engineering Scholarship The Transgrid Civil Engineering Scholarship fund will support 100 Charles Sturt engineering students over four cohorts with $20000 each over four years. All students applying to study engineering at Charles Sturt are encouraged to apply for these scholarships and the funds can be spent however it's needed - whether that's the costs associated with your study, living expenses or learning resources. $20000 paid over 4 years. $5000 per year paid after census.
