Are you in a difficult financial situation? We offer short-term interest-free loans of up to $2000 to current Charles Sturt University students.
You can use a short-term loan to pay for expenses such as:
- textbooks and journals
- course equipment
- travel/accommodation costs for compulsory placements and residential schools
- study related equipment
- living expenses
- emergency medical and dental expenses
- bond and rent in advance if relocating for study purposes.
To be eligible for a loan, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a humanitarian visa.
We can offer financial help quickly (within one working day) if you need emergency assistance. This can be for essential expenses such as food and accommodation, or to help cover the cost of a medical or family crisis.
Our emergency loans are up to $100.
You're eligible to apply for an emergency loan if you're a current student and either an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a humanitarian visa.
We offer interest-free student loans to eligible, enrolled, on-shore international students. These loans are available to international students studying on campus at Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie or Wagga Wagga.
International student loans help you deal with unexpected costs that may affect your studies.
We have loans of up to $300 available in emergency circumstances.
We also have short-term loans of up to $500 available to meet non-emergency study-related expenses.
